On January 21, 1979, PICA Foundation Board of Trustees established a very special and meaningful award. It is to be presented annually, or when deemed appropriate, to an individual within Printing Industry of the Carolinas, Inc. (PICA) organization for truly outstanding service to the industry, community or fellow man. It was further decided to name the award in honor of Norman W. Foust, a truly outstanding and dedicated individual, who was a contributor of great magnitude to PICA for many years. A special plaque is presented to the recipient, and PICA Foundation donates $1,000 in their honor to the charity of his/her choice.
